Health and Safety

Our district maintains health and safety programs in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  Regular inspections, hazard assessments and trainings are conducted internally to ensure Hibbing Public Schools remains a safe workplace for employees.  Hibbing Public Schools contracts with the Institute for Environmental Assessment (IEA) to provide regular program maintenance and consultative services relating to environmental, health and safety.

Hibbing Public Schools has annual notifications available for review by staff, students, parents and guardians for: Integrated Pest Management, Asbestos, Indoor Air Quality and Lead-in-Water.
